Many of my refashions have, and will continue to involve T-shirts. I love matching colors, discovering unique designs, and paying very little for excellent quality T-shirts in thrift stores.
Here are a few dresses I made before I began my blog.
First, my birthday dress, named so because I made it and wore it out on my birthday. It is made of three men's thrifted T-shirts. I tried the hi-low style and get many comments each time I wear it. When I want to feel comfy, cool, and cute, I pull this refashion out of the closet.
If you live in Saskatchewan or follow Canadian football you will recognize this logo from absolutely everywhere. For that is where you find Rider fans, You can not attend an event without seeing a piece of clothing from the Saskatchewan Roughriders. (Last year's Grey Cup Champs!! Yay!!!!) Mexicans sell merchandise with this logo on the beach, Rider fans have been zoomed in on at the Olympics, the famous green has been spotted at NHL hockey games, flying from condos in exotic locations ......I could go on.
I made this Rider dress from a men's XXXL long sleeved T-shirt from Value Village. It went to Saskatchewan Night in Puerto Vallarta and Riderville in Regina last year for Grey Cup. It will attend many important Rider events in the future.
