I started by cutting both shirts. I wanted a drop back so the colored shirt was cut in a curve.
I gathered the black shirt to form a dropped and flowing back.
Then I inserted a black strip to separate the two front pieces as they are reunited.

I paired the new shirt with a black knit skirt and set out to explore the outlet mall in Las Vegas. My shirt was as stylish as anything I found in the mall .... and my price .....much less!
